The
multiple choice format is perhaps the most familiar test format to many of us.
It is also commonly referred to as an objective test as there is seen to be
‘objectivity’ in grading the test. Multiple choice structures consist of
several basic but important components which are the rubrics, the stem, the
distracters and the key.
